« Bretagne Plage Camp | L’Académie des Arts Camp » Le Moulin Bleu CampCamps Location The Village of LOUBARESSE is located on the border of Lozère, between the Aubrac plateau and the mountains of Margeride, near the lake of Grand-Val and the Viaduct of Garabit. Our camp “Le Moulin Bleu” once a mill, and then an auberge, has kept its authenticity and charm through the centuries. Located at the base of the Arcomie River valley, on 15 acres of fields and forest, the auberge has been remodelled to welcome the campers and offers horseback riding on site. Food & Facilities Living quarters consist of large tents equipped with beds and mattresses. Shower facilities are located at the auberge. The camp’s professional Chef and his staff prepare healthy and delicious meals each day including the “Produits du pays” (local produce) as farmers regularly bring fresh fruits and vegetables . French Cuisine of Course! Activities Pool and river swimming, kayaking, tennis, mountain biking, soccer, volley ball, horseback riding, Ping-Pong, crafts such as woodworking, building of forts, dams and rafts, treasure hunts and much more… Mini-Camps Sailing, Windsurfing, Kayaking (Lac de Grand-Val, 3 days) Accro-Branches / Adventure camp (Fortified Village of Malzieu, 2 days) Field Trips The Truyère Gorges Viaduct of Garabit (built by G. Eiffel). The Castle of Alleuze. Visit the local farms and cheese factory. Country-Museum: Discover an authentic 18th century farm and a 19th Century school. Visit of Saint-Flour: a Medieval town with its Gothic Cathedral and its fortifications. Mount Mouchet: Headquarters of the French Resistance during World War II. Laguiole: Nationally famous for its handmade knives, visit the knife workshop. |
